Heart Palpitations, Constipation After Taking Thyronorm For Hypothyroidism. Protein In Urine. Due To High Dosage Of Thyronorm?
Dear Sir, I am 38 year old male. Around one month ago I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism. My TSH is 9.28. T3 and T4 are 117.51 and 10.9 respectively. My LDL cholesterol is 153.0. The doctor prescribed 25 mcg of Thyronorm for week days and thereafter 50 mcg. After I started taking 50 mcg I am feeling heart palpitations and constipation. I feel that may be my Thyronorm dosage is excessive. My urine report says that there is trace of protein. Please advice me on the right dosage.

the doctors have their own experience of giving thyroid medicine my personal experience is that no medicine is required till tsh is more than 15
i treat with giving iodine
you ca consult your doctor or take second opinion or decrease the dose to 25 microgram as it also upset stomach use antacids along the medicine
