Breast pain or tenderness can be related to pregnancy, medication or horminal imbalance.
If you can self examine your breasts, look for any lumps, or anybother abnormalities. If you find any, please report to the doctor immediately.
If you do not find any such abnormalities and only suffer frlm breast tenderness or pain, I would like you to start by getting your hormonal levels checked and then move on to a mammogram, which should be conducted in all women once every year after the age of 30 years. So yes, please visit your doctor to be on the safer side.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
