Having Irregular Periods. Report Showed Bulky Ovaries. Taking Cycloset. Feel Sick And Have Pimples On Face. Remedy?
Hi,
I was having irregular periods 2 months back. I skipped 1 month's period then.I did a USG and it reported slight bulky ovaries. But after that, my periods started as normal. I am now taking the medicines (Cycloset syrup as doctor suggested). My periods are regular now but every time before periods I feel very sick/weak for 2-3 days and also get pimples around my chin and upper lips.
Please suggest..is anything serious? I m married for the last 3.5 yrs with no kids.

The weak sensation and the increase in acne before your periods are the changes that you experience. It is related to the hormonal changes that are occuring.
In terms of fertility, if you and your husband have been actively trying to conceive for a year or more, then you may want to seek assistance from your doctor to determine if there are any factors affecting fertility.
This would involve testing the both of you. Your husband would need to do a semen analysis and your doctor would suggest a series of investigations to assess your ovaries, uterus, tubes and cervix.
This would include blood tests for hormonal levels and imaging tests.
