Hi there, I think you have given him enough antipyretics recomended for the time frame and it would be best to give him cold sponging and see if the fever subsides. Wait for the result of blood test and start definitive treatment and taking care of the cause will take care of the symptoms. If the fever doen't go down with coldsponging then on the advise of the pediatrician you can give him injectable antipyretics. Do nt cover him up if he is not feeling cold and do sponge him forehead bpdy and armpits. This shouild help take care.

Hello
Till the cause is identified, the only medication for fever is either plain paracetamol or COMBIFLAM as given by your doctor.
Further treatment would fepend upon the lab reports.
If fever is more than 102,you may do cold sponging.
There is nothing to woory as things shall settle soon.
Thanks
