Having Dizzy Spells After A Fall That Caused Minor Bleeding In Brain. Anything To Worry ?

Hi, I am a 34 year old male in good health. I sustained a head injury approximately 4 and 1/2 weeks ago after a fall that caused a small bleed on the brain, identified by CT scan , the advice given was the bleed was quite minor and will be absorbed back into the body over a period of time. Since the accident I have been having dizzy spells, havent had them before, and they have gradually been lessoning in frequency and intensity. I was wondering if I should get checked again soon. Dizzy spells are quite uncomfortable, norally happens when I get up or down too fast. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and thanks for writing in at HCM
Their are more chances that you episodes of dizziness are related to your previous Head Injury. You need to be checked again by your neurologist and if needed repeat CT head or EEG or both can be done to rule out the cause of dizziness. Please remember that heart related causes and diabetes are also needs to be investigated if you have previous history? Some history i want t know:
1. Are you on any medication after head injury if yes what are they?
2. Does you fall or have loss of consciousness due to this?
3. Does you know that you are going to have a episode of dizziness or not?
3. History of Diabetes or Hypertension?
4. Your height, weight?
Please answer the queries so that we are able to get you more clear answer. Meanwhile consult your neurologist.
Best Wishes
