Hematologist 's  Response
Hi,
This 4 year old child seems to have a decrease in all three blood cell types. His haemoglobin is low and so are his WBCs and platelets. This can occur due to some problems with the bone marrow.

He needs urgent evaluation. He will need am examination of the blood smear and possibly a bone marrow aspiration and biopsy as well.

Please ensure that these are done as early as possible.
