Having Bad Bowel Movements. Stools Test Revealed Pus Cells 3-7/hpf And Undigested Food. Giving Diof-ds. Alternate Medicines For Cure?
Sir my son is having bad bowel movments since last 5 days
On inspection of his stools we observed
Colour brown
Form semi-solid
Mucus in his tools
Occult blood
Pus cells 3-7/hpf
Undigested food
We r giving diof-ds 3.5ml 2 times a day
Please suggest me other medicines or test to be done and time of curring the deasease

Hi, your son seems to have Amoebic dycentry with 2nd ry bacterial infection. (stol microscopic exam to be sure )
To manage
* drink only boiled water in plenty, with plenty of liquids-black tea/coffee, butter milk, Diluted lemon or oranges with salt & suger,coconut water
Only easy to digest semisolid food like boild rice with curds&salt etc.
*have comparitive rest
* shift to Ofloxicin+Ornidazole Combination,Ranitidine hydrochloride,Dicyclomine hydrochloride (if has colic)-in the doses according to his age.+ ORT ,
It will take about 5 days to control the problem. Even after that he has to maintain food & water care for a couple of days more.
He being a child it's always bettre to consult a doctor.Such cases do sometimes need IV fluids.
