Have Tonsillitis, Unable To Eat, Feel Like Stuck In Chest. What To Do?
Hi. I Han toncilitus. I tried to eat 36 hours ago but had to give up as felt like I had indigestion. It feels like the food is stuck right in the middle of my chest. Every couple of minutes or so my body tries to push this food down but it isn't budging. I'm in so much pain with it and haven't slept for 2 days. Any ideas?
Hello Friend Welcome to H.C.M friend as you have told your self that you have acute tonsillitis . so you need to take appropriate antibiotic. I would suggest you to start Broad spectrum antibiotic for one week, analgesics and antiseptic mouth gargles. if this is recurrent problem then you might have to go for surgery of the tonsils. But still I would suggest you to consult the Specialist if you don’t get relief as on examination the findings may be different and line of treatment may have to be changed. Please don’t hesitate to consult and ask for any more query. i will be pleased to answer. With best wishes for a speedy cure Yours sincerely The Health Caremagic Medical Team
