Have Temperature Of 38.1 Under Arm, Is Lethargic And White Pasty Spots Inside Lips, Tongue. Have Fever

Hello,
My three and a half year old daughter has a temperature of 38.1 under the arm, is lethargic and has white pasty spots inside her lips and on her tongue. Her fever started last night and we haven't treated it with Advil yet. We are wondering if we should take her to the clinic. We are Canadians, in Bali at right now on holiday.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
your 3 1/2 year old daughter had fever. had white spots on the lips, and tongue.
The fever may be due to the spots in the mouth , they may be the candida infection. secondary bacterial infection cause the fever.
One should always take the children to the hospital when ever they have some ill ness.
I advise you to take her to the doctor as early as possible.till then if you have paracetamol, you can give her for temporary relief.
Wishing her a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
