Have Swollen Lymph Nodes Groin Area. Have Upset Belly, Abdominal Tenderness, Water Stools, Cramping And Bloating. Remedy?

Hi there,

I'm a 40 yo female, who is VERY worried about symptoms and what the heck is going on with me.....

Current issue:
for about 4 weeks I've had swollen lymph nodes in the right groin area. They are kind of tender... I pretty much just feel pain on the left side.
I have a mild pressure point in the lower back near the tailbone. Not painful, just tender. Sore hips and achy bum muscles.

Prior to that, I had gone to the doctor about 3 months ago as I was experiencing upset belly, abdominal tenderness, frequent water stools, cramping, bloating, etc. This lasted for about 4 weeks, took some Immodium to help with the "runs" but still have a very "girgly" belly.

Poor appetite, tired, no energy, weak, occasional shortness of breath & dizziness.

I've been concerned this past week as the pressure in my lower back has been pretty persistant and I'm waking up with numbness in my arms, tingling in legs.

Last time I went to the doctor, had my basic blood work done and urine test for kidney infection. Things came back fine. (though I do have low thyroid, but have for many years)

Now when I went to see her today, he said I should have lymph node biopsied.

I am FREAKING out.
I am worrying myself sick wondering what is wrong with me.

I am under a lot of stress so I'm not sure if some of my symptoms are related to that, but I'm very concerned about these swollen lymph nodes. Doesn't that indicate an infection, or worse, cancer?

Help, I'm going crazy.

Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.
Basically any swollen and painful lymphnode anywhere in the body indicates that there is some infection/inflammation in the area it is draining (in your case enlargement of groin lymph nodes could be due to some issue in your leg/Hip joint).
Numbness and tingling in the arms & legs indicate some neurological disturbance.
As you are having symptom complexes, I suggest you to undergo thorough evaluation to arrive at a diagnosis. Hope this helps
