Have Swollen Heel With Pain While Bearing Weight. Is It Due To Gout?

I have a swollen heel and extremely sore heel bottom and heel back. I also have pain when bearing weight and especially when I raise my foot off the floor like a knife is being pushed into the bottom of my heel. I have heel spurs but could this be gout?

Hi
Thanks for writing your query
You are having plantar fasciitis (Most likely) and not gout which needs to be ruled out by serum uric acid and physical examination. Gout mostly affects larger joint with swelling and raise in local temperature. Typically, in the beginning it (gout) occurs in the great toe area, commonly.
Take care
