Have Severe Headache And Fever. Viral Infection?
sat. and sunday had the most incredible headache in my 60 years. Also a low grade fever. Went to Dr. on monday and blood work done. blood normal. He said I had viral infection, Tylenol every 8 hours
Today is Thursday and if I dont take tylenol my fever jumps to about 38.4 C +/-. Tylenol will bring back down.
Cant eat alot...gag reflect with smell of food. A Little dysentary but not all the time. Drinking lots of water

Viral fever may last upto 5-7 days. So, if the fever persists beyond that, you should have work up done to look for alternate causes of fever. As of now, your doctor's approach seems to be fine.
