Have Sciatic Pain Radiating Down Legs On Start Of Running, Further Walking Subsides

Hi, when I run I get a sciatic type pain radiating down both legs. I can't feel it at all when I walk. It eases off after around 1 to 1.5 miles and then I can comfortably go on to finish my run (anything up yo 10 miles) with no after effect. It just feels really uncomfortable when I start to run - more of a jarring aching sensation than acute pain.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome at HCM.

I have read your query.

It looks that most probably you may be having problem of spinal canal stenosis. To rule out this you should have MRI of your spine.

Hope this will help you.
