Have Periods For Over A Month, Presence Of Blood Clots. What Should I Do?

hi i been on my period for over a month and this is abnormal for me. I usually get my period for one week once a month. it starts out heavy then goes to be light. Now i got my period its longer than before, im having blood clots for the first time and im see lots of it. i feel like im losing lots of blood. i use to wear tampons but it got too heavy i had to start wearing pads too. now i stop wearing tampons and wearing pads. my period is still going on. what should i do and whats wrong with me

It can be a dysfunctional uterine bleeding or due to hormonal imbalance.Better have a gyaenecology examination.You might need to take ultrasound examination.And also will be necessary to take progesterone preparations.In uncontrolled bleeding you might need a D & C also.Hope this may help you.
