Have Pcos And Trying To Conceive. Cause For Short Period Followed By Spotting And Swollen Cervix

I have pcos and been trying to conceive. my normal periods come every 30 days and are very heavy with lots of blood clots lasting around 5 days and then finishes up with a couple days of spotting. and this has been like this for over a year now. in oct my period came on time but was bright red and not near as heavy and w/o clotting and lasted only 3 days and almost no spotting. then in nov it came one week early and was bright red and didn't last a full day and spotted the rest of that day. ive had all preg s/s but blood test and urine test shows neg. my cervix is high and hard and seems to be swollen. I had a pap in sept and everything was normal. now im left to wonder what is going on. can you help

PCOS definitely makes pregnancy more challenging, because of the deranged levels of male hormones in your body; as a matter of fact, many patients actually do need help from medications, such as metformin or hormonal based therapy, to improve the chances of fertility. You shouls discuss these options with your Ob/Gyn doctor.
