Have Pain During Sex, Tickling Feeling Outside Vagina, Found Blood

Hi, the last two times I've had sex (3-4 weeks apart) have been very painful to the point where I wanted nothing more than to just stop. The first time it was hurting I had a bit of blood, but the second time nothing. I last had sex about 4 days ago and it was very painful and since then I have had this really strange tickling feeling on the outside of my vagina, almost like I really need to masterbate and have an orgasm, so I've tried masterbating a few times to see if that work (I thought maybe I wasn't getting satisfaction), but it hasn't worked and every orgasm I've had since the last time I had sex have been really dull and nothing too amazing, which is strange for me because I've always been able to give myself the best orgasm. I don't understand what's going on!

OBGYN 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
The possible causes for post coital spotting are :
- Post coital abrasions or tears.
- Local causes like cervical erosion, polyps etc.
Pelvic infection can present with symptoms like pain during intercourse, itching at the vagina, cervical erosion etc.
Decreased orgasm could be psychological due to the pain during intercourse or hormonal or rarely damage to the nerves of clitoris.
So, if the symptoms persist, consult gynecologist once and get examined.
By examination possibility of pelvic infection, cervical erosion etc can be ruled out.
In case of presence of infection, taking one course of antibiotics may help.
Using lubricants can help in decreasing pain during intercourse.
Take care.
