Have Osteoarthritis In Hip, Shoulders And Hands, Experiencing Chronic Pain In Right Leg. Cure?.
Hi Dr., I have Osteoaritis in my hip, shoulders and hands. But right now and for the past 2 months or so I have been experiencing chronic pain in my right leg. Between my knee & thigh ., mainly in my hip joint . I have taken x-rays already and the right side is worst than the left. I am going to the Ortho-surgeon tomorrow for a consultation for PT. What would you suggest if PT wont benefit me at this point? I have stopped taking my Myloxicam several weeks ago and now I ingest 3-Hospital Tylenol reg strength (326mg) sometimes 2x s a day for the pain and I also sleep with a heating pad on my thigh and hip several nights a week. Thank you for your advice and have a good afternoon.

Hi, it appears that you have developed osteo orthritis, of the hip, and leg joints, or sciatica, or arthritis of the joints.
I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. Physiotherapy is thought of after the medical, or surgical treatment.
