I have heat intolerance problem. Before two years I was normal but now I do not sweat at all and my body does not regulates or adjust it temperature automatically which puts me in lot of trouble. My body temperature raise upto 102 in day time. I have to take lot of showers to become normal. When I am in air conditioner atmosphere I am normal. As the surrounding temperature raise above 40 I fell ill immediately. I do not sweat at all and suddenly start feeling fatigue , weakness, and looks like it is hard to even sit on a chair. I can only lay on bed. I have Get my TSH test the ranges are normal and doctors are unable to suggest any treatment.
Whenever I sweat artificially like covering me with a warm cloth on room temperature in shelter I feel better. But even a little effort in heat makes me sick and I do not sweat at all. Please help me I am worried that I will loose my job.

Hi
Sweating is a natural phenomenon to regulate body heat and occurs irrespective of your wish.If your body were not regulating temperature on its own,you would feel cold, indeed very cold, in the air conditioned atmosphere.Relax and do not stress it out. There are very few conditions where the body fails to sweat as a whole and they are extremely rare.If you are not sweating,it may be because your body has adjusted to the ambient temperature on its own without needing to sweat.
