In the elderly, especially blumps of acute onset, its very important to do a critical evaluation. This could range from being a cold abscess to a breast cyst. In a woman who has never done a mammographym this is an opportunity for her to do it. A clinical evaluationn evaluation to ascertain the actual nature of the breast, to check whether there is a collection and locoregional lymphnode enlargements are key issues important during the valuation process.
