Have Lower Back Pain. Had Kidney Stones, Surgically Removed. Am Diabetic. Recurrence Of Kidney Stones?

I am experiencing lower back pain with groin pain that seems to get worse in the late afternoon. I had kidney stones surgically removed about 25 years ago as the whole urinary tract was completely blocked. I am also diabetic. Is this a reoccurrence of kidney stones with different symptoms? At what point should I see my doctor?

How bad is your pain? is it severe? The chances of you having another kidney stone after 25 years is really high. I suggest see your doctor and get a urinalysis and an ultrasound to see the size of the stone and it will guide you and your doctor on what to do with it. Hope this helps.
