Reasons for irregular period are hormonal imbalance, stress, over wt, ovarian cyst or PCOS, thyroid problem, high prolactin, irregular diet pattern etc.
You need a complete health check up by gynecologist. One pelvic USG and hormone tests are required to pinpoint the diagnosis.
Key treatment: low carbohydrate diet, control body wt, hormonal medication, avoid mental stress by meditation and take sound sleep. Good luck.
Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.
Cycle irregularity is most likely related to irregular or absent ovulation (producing an egg). This is extremely common. Your doctor needs to check for thyroid disease and prolactin levels. Also, if weight is an issue, then this needs to be addressed as it definitely plays a role in irregular cycles.
I hope that this helps and good luck!
