Have Herniated Discs In Neck And Back, Painful. Need Stronger Medication

hi, i have been dealing with chronic pain for several years now, i see a family practitioner, i have 2 herniated discs in my neck and upper back is degenerative, i am taking pain meds that i have been taking for sometime now, and it is not helping. i get to the point also where sometimes just touching me can be a bit painful. i feel like i need stronger medication, but have always only taken the 1.. i have been told when you take the same medication for a long time it tends not to work..

I think that you might have developed tolerance to the particular drug which you are consuming regularly making it ineffective.

Narcotic medications like Hydromorphone or Oxycodone are good analgesics used to treat Chronic severe pains.
