Hi,
you seem to be suffering from male pattern baldness( androgenetic alopecia). As the name suggests, causes are hormonal( testosterone converting more to its active form 5DHT and causing hair loss) and hereditary. Usually the hair fall is seen from frontal, temporal and central area of scalp, these areas of hair fall merge together finally to leave hair at back and sides of scalp( the pattern that your father is having now). Treatment given is in the form of minoxidil 5 percent and tablet finesteride. As these are prescription drugs, I would advise you to consult a doctor near by.
Take care.

Dermatologist Dr. Neera Kataria's  Response
Hi,
your fater has androgenic alopecia which has heridity predisposition, you have a tendency to develop that. but it normally occurs at later ages. you are 19 years and mentioned that you have so little hairloss.
there are about one lakh hair on our scalp, which are in different phases of growth, about 100 hair fall in a day is normal. so dont worry . try out these things-
-take a high protien and
well balanced diet. avoid body building powders containing hormones as they can cause hair fall.
-avoid hair gel or hair cosmetics
-wash hair with shampoo at least twice a week
-use wide toothed comb ,
dont use hair driers regularly
use hair conditioners after shampooing.
these things will help you.
in case u are still concerned contact a dermat to start minoxidil and other medications if required
