Have Early Periods With Breast Pains. What Is Going On ?

I am 32 years old and have always had very regular periods. About six months ago my periods started coming a few days early. I just got my period eight days after the end of my last one. I have also had breast pain for about a month. What's going on with my body! Oh and I also now have acne that I never had.

OBGYN 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Irregularity in menstrual cycles can occur due to many causes.
Like :
-Hormonal imbalance, this can occur due to conditions like poly cystic ovary disease, weight changes, stress and strain etc.
- Thyroid hormonal abnormalities
- Local causes like uterine fibroids, polyps etc.

So, once consult gynecologist and get evaluated.
With her advice you can go for investigations like ultrasound, hormonal profile including estrogen, progesterone, LH and FSH, thyroid profile.
With this workup the possible cause for your problem can be identified and treated. Take care.
