Have Ear Inflammation. Had Ear Inflammation Previously Also Resulted In Fungi Infection. Help?
What TO DO if a new ear inflammation just starting , only one drug I could use is rather old (opened over 5 months ago) and it shouldn't be used in pregnancy (it's a strong possibility I am). Not mentioned that I need prescription for it to buy a new vial . And I live in supposed to be "civilized" country but for the appointment with family doctor I need to wait minimum 2 weeks, with specialist average 6 month. The last acute inflammation I had in June, bad treatment caused additional fungi infection, and from July I'm waiting for the call from the ENT specialist about my hearing test.

Ear fungal infection does not eradicate easily, it is complete regime of treatment and patient has to go through this, the first thing is to remove the fungal part from the ear with help of suction pump then instilled with anti fungal agent and this procedure has to be taken for three days, the oral preparation is also that mush necessary and this includes Trimethoprime and sulfamthoxazole ( Not advisable for sensitive patient and in pregnancy) these agents gives excellent result, just simple kind of ear drops wont do any thing take care have nice day
