Have Cylindrical Power. Correct With Lasik Therapy. Is It A Good Option?
Hello doctors,
I have a -2.5 Cyl in right eye and -2.0 Cyl in left eye, without specs it is very difficult to have vision. My question is I want remove my cylindrical number through LASIK therapy..
1) Is it good to remove?
2) Will it have adverse effect in later age?
3) How much cost for it?
Please reply with your kind suggestions. One thing which i need to say that for me it is not compulsory to remove my eye number but if there is issue with that then i will remove it otherwise i am fine with it.

Yes you can undergo Lasik surgery and it is good also to have spectacle free life.
The prerequisites are
Age more than 21 years and presence of stable refraction for atleast last 6 months.
Usually the adverse effects are less or nil and it is one of the safest surgery with proven and good results.
The cost depends on the type of surgery with only lasik costing about Rs. 30,000 for both eyes, whereas intralase lasik may cost upto rs. 90,000 for bothe eyes in india.
