Have Bronchial Infection. Can I Take Sulfamet? Prescribed Amoxicillin Earlier
i have a bronchial infection from work breathing dust insulation etc other day.. kinda like infection can i take sulfamet tmp i have in cabinet to control or knock this from worsening and or take care of the sinus infection i am encountering at this time.. i have had this several times n past due to my work n i have been given amoxicillin previously but none on hand/
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Sulfamethazine , you can take as you are using from many months. I think you are a patient of allergic bronchitis and this type of symptoms occurs due to dust, mite. Due to your work you are a allergic and sinusitis prone patient. In my opinion , if possible please change your work. Otherwise your recurrent episode of allergic ( sinusitis) will may turn into ASTHMA. Sulfamet is an antibiotic and repeatedly not good for health as bacteria may get resistance. Good luck. Dr. HET
