Have Boil On Right Vaginal Fold. Swelling Up To Pubic Hair Line. Painful. Remedy?

I have (what I think) a boil on my right vaginal fold. I also have extreme swelling that goes up to the pubic hair line. It fells like a hard knot under neath it, that is approx. 1 inch long. I have some pain associated with it as well. I have no relief with pain and it seems to increase as the day goes on. I dont think i have a fever, but i do feel "off". Im not due for period for another 7-10 days.

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
The possibilities are presence of bartholin abscess or some vaginal infection.
So you once consult gynecologist and get examined to find out the actual cause for your problem.
You may need local and systemic antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs.
Sitz bath can help in relieving the symptoms.
You discuss these possibilities with your doctor and follow her advice.
