Have PCOD, Irregular Periods, Weight Gain, Hairloss. Best Treatment?

Hello Doctor
I'm suffering from pcod since 10yrs
I've irregular periods and since 3yrs I've heavy weight gain and hairloss
Have been taking treatment since 3yrs but haven't found any improvement
My weight is unmanageable inspite of exercises and dieting
I got married last yeari.e. November 2012
Have heard and read that ppl with pcod cannot conceive easily
Kindly suggest which is the best treatment to cure pcod and treat my weight gain

Thanks for writing in.

PCOD is a group of symptoms that are usually seen in young women. It cannot be predicted for how long treatment might be necessary. However, there are cases of PCOD women getting pregnant with treatments like ovary drilling. Please do not discontinue taking medication and also get ultrasound scan done regularly if you would like to conceive.
