Hard, Painful And Growing Lump In Back With Black Dot In Center. What Could It Be?

I have a small lump in the middle of my back. There is a small black dot in the center of it. I ve had it for many years but in the past several weeks it has grown significantly larger and is now very hard and painful to the touch. It looks very much like a pimple with a small blackhead , but when its squeezed nothing comes out. What could this be?
