Hard bony lump towards top of sternum under the clavicle bones, chest pain. What could it be ?

hard boney like lump towards top of sternum undr the clavicle bones just off to the side ofwhere they would meet in middle..found a month insurance...hoping to find ideas of whatit COULD be..its as hard as myelbow push no squish.its hard as a rock slightly soar..have lotsa chest pain deeper in chest dont know 39 and smoke for 20 yrs so a bit concerned...ideas pls??

Hi, Greetings,
This can be a point of concern as you been a smoker so would be better to get Computerised tomography scan (CAT Scan) done. If require than you can also get the lump biopsy done.
