Had Viral Infection. Having Earache. Hurting Jaw. Solution?

I have an ear ache and it is hurting my jaw, i have been to my GP 3 weeks ago and got told i had a viral infection, i have had a cough for 2 and a half month and i have cold/ flu on and off for this period of time. Now i have ear ache and my jaw has stiffened. Is there anything i can do til i can get an appointment with my GP?

Hi,
You may need one course of antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicine.
Consult your doctor and get examined.
Meanwhile take NSAID medicine like ibuprofen or Diclo-para combination as and when required.
Put antibiotic / analgesic ear drops.
Ok and take care.
