Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.

If you have had a negative pregnancy test at least 15 days after probable intercourse then it is most likely that you are not pregnant.

In women with tubes tied, the most fearsome situation is that of ectopic pregnancy. This happens when the fetus starts growing anywhere outside the uterus. This must be diagnosed at earliest. Even in this condition, the pregnancy test must come as positive. If a tubal ligation fails and you become pregnant, you have an increased risk of having an ectopic pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancies can occur years after the tubal ligation and are most likely 3 or more years after the procedure
Among 10,685 women studied, the risk of ectopic pregnancy within 10 years after sterilization was about 7 per 1,000 procedures

I suggest you to get a repeat pregnancy test and then discuss your problem with gynecologist. If necessary, an ultrasound scan might be indicated.

Hope this helps

Hi,
If you are sure, for no periods in last 2-3 months, I would advice to go for a trans vaginal ultra sonography .
It will exclude pregnancy.& also other abnormality.
Sometimes periods can stop all of a sudden, the breast gets engorged, signs of dyspepsia appear. All the symptoms mimic pregnancy. The condition is secondary amenorrheoa.
The condition can be treated well after certain investigations.Consult a Gynecologist &get relieved.
Thanks.
