Had Sinus Infection, Popping In Ears, Ringing Sensation, Painful Tongue. What Is The Cause?

I've recently had a sinus infection and while i had suddenly got a slight pop in my ears and ive had a ringing since, could this just be fluid?
also at the back of my throat it seems to be slightly swollen on my left side which hurts when i move my tongue back or occasionally when i swallow, what could have caused this?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

I have gone through your description. A slight pop in ears after a sinus infection is predictable. Only if the symptoms persists for a longer time or if it is worsening you need to worry. Please write back or visit an ENT specialist if the symptoms persist. As the description is not very clear it is difficult to pin point to any single diagnosis at this point of time.
