Hi and welcome,
I am Dr Nilajkumar a gynecologist and I understand your query. The description that you have posted is just about how the
biopsy specimen looks with the naked eye. A full report will mention how it looks under the microscope and also if there has been any genetic tests done, it will mention about genetic abnormalities if any.
So kindly post the complete report for me to provide an opinion.
Having said all this, Most of the time the microscopy does not pick up defects and genetic studies are needed.
Also I suggest that you get yourself evaluated for cause of
abortion like a blood sugar test, torch test,
VDRL and APL as they commonly lead to abortions.
Try not to conceive for the next 3 months and take
folic acid tablets to prevent brain defects in the baby.
Most of the time the causes are not recurrent and most women do well in future pregnancies. So do not worry.
I hope this was helpful.
Thanks for using HCM.
