Hi monu,

In the modern days of plastic packaged, ready-to-eat foods, many people tend to swallow small quantities of plastic items. Food grade plastic is not digested or absorbed. I presume you had regular bowel movements after this incidence. Any material which crosses the food pipe-stomach junction (esophago-gastric junction) generally gets out through the intestines. There is no need to worry on this account.

If the pain over your right side of lower abdomen is gradually reducing, then there is no cause for concern. If pain or vomiting refuses to disappear, please consult your physician. He will conduct appropriate tests to find out the reason for your problem.

Hope your abdominal pain stops bothering you further. Thanks a ton for using healthcaremagic.com
