hai doctor

I had my C-section on july 2012.i got my periods on the month of October,november,december 2012 and January 2013.After that I missed my periods in the month of February,march 2013.on 20 april 2013 slight bleeding started and still continuing.I met a doctor she took internal scan and said polystic.she gave adviced me to take Primolut nor and Marvelon. So can you please whats my actual prolem?

Hi dear user, thanks for asking to us.

As per your history, you delivered a baby and hence, probably lactating. During lactation, certain hormonal changes occur( increase in prolactin hormone ) which can cause polycystic ovaries and cause changes in menstrual pattern. To regulate your cycles, you may need a hormonal treatment.
