Had Dengue Fever. Headache, Unsteadiness. Taking Olekart For BP. Another Checkup Needed?
Dear Doctor, I am 52 years of age and had dengue fever one month back. all my blood counts have now become normal and i started attending office. after attending offie for one week on the firiday evening a I had head ache and unsteady feeling. Saturday Doctor told me to tame olekart 20 mg for BP as i had Bp 160/80. once i started taking the Bp was coming down to 110/80 in the moring and evening to 150/90. after three days now Doctor has changed the medicine to S-numelo 205 mg.I don t have any other specific diffcculty other than some haziness in the head S Nampoothiri mumbai .Shall i go for any othercheck up. India

There developed a post dengue trauma through which you are passing now a days.
As you mentioned that your B P was 160 / 80 mm of Hg, there was headache , giddiness .
This reading of B P even after giddiness was not alarming for any anti hypertensive treatment .
In my opinion get in blood for lipid profile , blood sugar , serum creatinene , if all these tests normal then get a rest for 10 days .
Thereafter resume your work.
Next reason of this dizziness or giddiness may be due to tension or hyper acidity so take a treatment for tension and hyper acidity .
