Had A Miscarriage With No Cramps, Just Flu Like Symptoms. Spotting Followed By Heavy Clots. Any Concerns ?
I had a miscarriage in July this year with hardly any cramps just tired and flu like symptoms. I had my usual period starting September 7 and missed my period in October. I have been spotting for 3 weeks solid with no cramping or clots. Friday I had a gush of blood with some clotting didn't feel well for two days and rested with out any abnormal bleeding or clots now it just back to the everyday spotting. Any ideas.?

HI, THe viral fever can cause thretend abortion/ arrest of fetal growth( missed abortion). which will continue as slow abortion process in form of bleeding . The clot passed may not have the fetus That's why you did not have pain. Pelvic sonography will clear the situation. - sometimes, a viable fetus is found,( here pregnancy can continue with due treatment - some times the pregnancy is nonviable & needs to be removed by miner surgery. You will need a Gynecologist's help for management. Thanks.
