Had A Lump On The Breast. Was A Fibroadenoma. Has Become Larger, Painful. Cure For Symptoms?

When I first became pregnant I noticed a lump on my breast. To make a long story short turns out it was a fibroadenoma. It\'s been 5day since ive had my baby and it has become larger in size and is extremely painful. Is there anything I can do to make it shrink in size or to relieve some of the pain before my 6week checkup? f

Hi ! Fibroadenomas are benign lesions which are removed for histo pathological confirmation of diagnosis. For the present, you can take some anti inflammatory drugs which might relieve your pain and swelling upto some extent. However, if it increases along with increase in pain, then you may have to get reviewed earlier to exclude a breast abscess which needs specific treatment.
Wishing you an early recovery.
