Got Tattoo, Swelling, Flaking, Pits Visible, Vomiting, Nausea, Fever. Is It Blood Poisoning?

A friend of mine got a tattoo 4 days ago (unprofessionally) and it is now swollen, flaking, and there are pits visible in the tattoo. He is vomiting, with accompanying fever and nausea. Are these symptoms of blood poisoning? He has no insurance, so if it can be dealt with at home it would be best, but if medical treatment is necessary, he will do what it takes. Do you have any suggestions?

hello,

your friend shows signs of infection.
The source of infection may be the site of the tattoo.
Your friend needs medical help.
Blood culture and sensitivity test should be done and the site of tattoo should be provided with good wound care.
I find this answer helpful
