Getting Recurrent Typhoid, Treated But Again Had Fever. TB Test Positive And Given Medicine. Taking Thyronorm For TSH

Hi,
My spouse was detected with Typhoid on 29th July 2013. The medication started soon after that. And after taking medicine for 2 weeks the fever resided. 10 Aug 2013 onward there was no no fever. On 17th Aug 2013 it started again. Our family doctor suggested to get the TB Gold test done, which was positive. On 29 Aug 2013, TB medication started and her fever resided in 2 weeks. But now from 17 Sept, she started running on fever again. Got all the blood checkups done. Here TSH is a bit higher and she is taking pills (Thyronorm 100 mcg) for the same. The fever is in the range of 99-99.6 and runs all the day. No chills no sweat. Please advice.

Pyrexia of unknown origin, difficult to find out the cause, but as you said, the TB test turned positive, ( Here you have not mentioned which test ) more over you have not said of what kind of Tb infection is there, starting anti Tb drug is bit experienced job, even after starting Tb treatment you get no response then,, the dose may inadequate, improper regime , Mutlti drug resistance case, these factor should be considered, keep in touch with HCM.
