Welcome to Healthcare Magic
Lebers is a mitochondrial DNA disease. It spreads from mothers to her sons. In order to know what chances you have in contracting the disease it would be best to seek consultation with a Genetics Counsellor who will be able to plot a pedigree chart and tell you the chances of you contracting the disease.
