Full Bladder But Am Unable To Initiate Urination.

I find myself with a full bladder but am unable to urinate....over time small dribbles will come out with a lot of straining, but i cant empty it enough to reduce the uncomfortable full feeling. have been feeling this for 2-3 hours. What is this, will it go away by itself, and/or, What should i do? Am a 20 year old female in Australia.

This could be due to decreased water intake, dehydration or cases wherein the urethra becomes constricted unable to pass urine with ease. Also if the bladder muscle is weakened, then that also causes difficulty in passing urine due to poor bladder tone.
