General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear,

The symptoms in your child can be attributed to Pin worm infection.
Investigations like stool examination & tape test will be helpful in clinching the diagnosis.
Management involves:
1. Antihelminthic preparation like Albendazole/ Mebendazole.
2. Application of calamine lotion.
3. Antihistamine like Levocetrizine for symptomatic relief from itching & redness.
4. Maintenance of adequate hygiene.

There is no need to worry, your son will be fine.
Wishing him a good health.
Take care.
