Hello and welcome to HCM.

Thank you for your query.

It looks as though you could be suffering from a urinary tract infection (UTI), but of course this will have to be confirmed. Let me list the symptoms of a UTI out for you so that you could relate to this:
-Burning sensation while urinating
-Frequent urination
-Increased urge to urinate, but less amount of urine passed
-Chills
-Fever
-Lower abdominal and/or flank region pain
-Itching around the genitals
-Blood in urine or immediately after (not always seen)

Please note that not all symptoms need to be present in one individual. You will have to visit your doctor and get your urine examined to confirm the infection. Once this is done, the doctor will advise a course of antibiotics, pain management medication (if required) and a urine alkalizer if your urine is acidic.

Now coming to the light pinkish discharge, this is present in two cases:
-During the first few days of a period
-Or the sign of an infection

Please do not worry, visit your doctor and in the meantime please consume plenty of water and cranberry juice if available.

I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.

Best wishes.
