Frequent mouth ulcers, occur on tongue tip. Due to body heat or allergies?

Hi, My age is 28.. I have mouth ulcers problem,It occurs frequently. From past 6 months its been a part of my routine life.. I am taking multivitamin capsules, but its not working. Is there any other reason of mouth ulcer apart from body heat,, can this be any allergy? The ulcers are basically on tip of my tongue .. Kindly answer

Hi,

Thanks for asking the query,

Frequent mouth ulcers is aphthous stomatitis occurs due to many reasons few are;
Nutriotional deficiencies like vitamin B & C , folic acid.
Immunological imbalance, hormonal diturbances,
Allergic reactions, trauma from broken or sharp tooth.
Stress, consumption of tobacco or smoking.

I would suggest you to visit to Dentist and get the checkup done.
Apply cortisone acetate oral ointment topically over the affected area.
Take multivitamin tablets.
Use lukewarm saline gargles 3-4 times a day, and natiseptic mouthwash gargles twice daily.
Avoid eating of hot nad spicy foods.

There are various reasons for mouth ulcers. It could be due to (a) deficiency of B-Complex group of Vitamins in which case you may suppliment by naturally with nutritiously balanced diet /by using tablets/capsules over the counter.(b)Due to smoking;- as a pre cancerous lesion (c)Spirit;- Due to continuous corrossive action(d)Sharp Tooth;-By constant pricking and irritation(e)Sexually Transmitted Infections such as Syphylis as a painless ulcer (f) Idiopathic;- benign rhomboid glossitis/geographical tongue.
Treatment;- Removal of offending agent// Treating with analgesic/anesthetic gels//Supplimenting with vitamins//Mouth gargling with Betadine and antisceptics.

Hi,

Thanks for writing in.
Mouth ulcers are not uncommon condition and usually result due to emotional stress, dietary insufficiency or constant trauma by sharpened edges of teeth.
Look in your case if it is tooth or stress as dietary supplements not curing it.
Take probiotic supplements or have lot of yogurt, which increases good bacteria in mouth to fight ulcers.
Again antibiotic or steroid use for longer time cause similar ulcers. So if it is cause, consult your treating physician before stopping medicines.

Hello,
There could be numerous causes for recurrent tongue ulcers like
Sharp teeth
Poor oral hygiene
Oral thrush
Wrong toothbrushing
Consumption of hot spicy food,alcohol,tobacco 
Excess consumption of tea or coffee
Poor or no sleep
Canker sores or aphthous stomatitis may be caused by lowered immunity of body.
Consult a physician and get a proper treatment after diagnosing the cause.
