Hi,

You need to take two booster doses of rabies vaccine on day 0 and 3. If a person has been previously fully vaccinated against rabies using a modern rabies vaccine following a dog bite only two doses of vaccines are given on days 0 and 3.

Booster is necessitated not to leave any chance, just in case, your immune levels have gone down.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
