Fluctuating BP, Have Slight Headache, Nagging Pain In Left Arm During Rise, On Medicines, History Of Triple Bypass. Advice?
I am 50 years old had tripple bypass in 2001 and 2 stents in 2005 and a stress test in jan 2012 that was normal.my blood pressure for the past week has been going up and down: 109/63 to the highest 162/97. During the day it s usually close to132/82. When it is up i have a slight headache and a light nagging pain in my left arm . I do take atenolol ,plavix and asprin each day.

Hello.. Thanks for writing us As you had already CAD your B P goal is SBP your lower BP reading is Ok but upper is high 162. You consult your cardiologist he will advice you better drug in place of atenolol. which action would be for 24 hours Best wishes
