Flesh Colored Growth On Tonsil. Have Cough. Cause And Is It Related?
I ve had a flesh colored growth on my left tonsil for a few months. I also feel like my left ear almost has fluid behind it. I have been coughing for a few months as well...sparatically, especially when I lay on my left side. What could be the cause of this growth on my tonsil? Does this have anything to do with my coughing?
You seem to be having two problem, a tonsillar growth which should be evaluated further and a reflux induced cough in all probability since its there only sporadically and especially since it comes when you lie on the left side which is so typical of reflux.
Get an ENT consult who will have a better look at your growth and chart out a treatment plan to confirm and cure your problem Also get an upper GI endoscopy to confirm the reflux and treat the same
meanwhile avoid spicy, oily and high flavoured food also do not lie on your left side and immediately after having food
take care and get well soon
